In a nutshell ... Resumiendo
I was born in 1986 in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Vitoria is the capital city of the Basque Country, a region in the north of Spain. When I was 9, we moved to Langarika, a really small village in the same region with only 40 inhabitants. I studied in Vitoria until university. At 18, I moved nearer to Bilbao in order to attend the University of the Basque Country (UPV), and lived in Basauri, a city near Bilbao, for 5 years.
After graduating, I decided to experience something different. At some thought I decided... "Let's go to Finland for a while!" I did not know how much I would love this country before coming... |
My family Mi familia
Family is really important in the Spanish culture. That is why I would like to talk about them briefly.
There are 4 in my family: my dad, my mum, my brother and I. My father, Josetxu, is the most hardworking man in the world. He has been always "fighting" in order to give us everything. He is talented, enterprising and loving. My mother, Marian, is an excellent mother: affectionate, kind and understanding. My brother Lleir is one year younger than me and constantly surprises me with his generosity.

Activities and leisure time Actividades y tiempo libre
I like doing sports... any kind of sports! I go to the gym twice per week, I play badminton and squash and I play team sports with my friends once per week. I love Basque sports like "pelota mano" and "frontenis". Unfortunately, I cannot practice them in Finland but would love to teach you the basics. In my free time I also like photography and reading fashion blogs.
